Refund policy

Summary

You may return any item within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We send you a prepaid return label and cover the cost. Shipping is free in both directions.

Statutory right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason, in accordance with Directive 2011/83/EU and articles L.221-18 and following of the French Code de la consommation. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party you designate other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the goods. Where an order is delivered in several parcels, the period runs from receipt of the last item.

To exercise this right, you must inform us of your decision by an unambiguous statement sent to contact@yonaku.com, by text message on +1 332-249-4051 (SMS only), or by post to DAJE — YONAKU, 7 rue du Tangor, 11100 Narbonne, France. You may use the model form below, but it is not compulsory.

Our 30-day commercial return policy is granted in addition to this statutory right. It extends the period during which you may return an item; it does not replace, restrict or waive any right you hold by law.

Condition of returned items

Items must be returned unworn, unwashed, in their original condition and with any tags still attached. You are liable only for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

How to return an item

  1. Write to contact@yonaku.com with your order number and the item concerned.
  2. We send a prepaid return label within one business day.
  3. Return the goods without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day you communicated your withdrawal.

Do not send an item back before contacting us: parcels returned without a label issued by us cannot be traced.

Refunds and timing

We refund all payments received from you, including the standard delivery cost, without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day we are informed of your decision to withdraw. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have supplied evidence of having sent them, whichever is earliest.

Refunds are made using the same means of payment used for the initial transaction, unless you expressly agree otherwise. In no event will you incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement. Your bank may take a further 5 to 10 business days to post the refund to your account.

Return costs

We bear the direct cost of returning the goods. A prepaid label is provided for every return.

Exchanges

The fastest route is to return the original item for a refund and place a new order. Both the return label and the new delivery are free.

Items excluded from return

In accordance with article L.221-28 of the Code de la consommation, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods unsealed after delivery which cannot be returned for reasons of hygiene or health protection. This concerns: pierced jewellery, socks and tabi, face masks worn against the skin, and underwear, once unsealed or worn. Gift cards are also excluded.

These exclusions do not apply where the item is faulty, damaged, or does not match its description.

Legal guarantees

All goods sold benefit from the statutory guarantee of conformity (articles L.217-3 to L.217-17 of the Code de la consommation) and from the guarantee against latent defects (articles 1641 to 1649 of the Code civil).

Under the guarantee of conformity you have two years from delivery to act, and you may choose between repair and replacement. You are not required to prove the lack of conformity during the 24 months following delivery. Under the guarantee against latent defects you may choose between rescinding the sale and a reduction in price, within two years of discovering the defect.

These guarantees apply independently of, and in addition to, the commercial return policy described above.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

Contact us within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a photograph. We reship the correct item or refund you in full, including delivery costs, at your choice.

Cancelling before dispatch

You may cancel an order free of charge at any time before it ships. Write to us as soon as possible with your order number.
