Cookie Policy
What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website. Cookies let a site remember your actions and preferences, measure how it is used, and — where you consent — show you relevant advertising.
This page explains which cookies YONAKU uses and how to control them. It complements our Privacy Policy.
Categories we use
Strictly necessary
Required for the site to function. They keep your cart, remember your language and currency, secure the checkout and prevent fraud. They cannot be switched off and do not require your consent.
Typical lifetime: from the end of the session up to 12 months. Set by Shopify, our platform provider.
Performance and measurement
These tell us which pages are visited, how long people stay and where they leave. We use them to fix what does not work. They are placed only with your consent and the data is aggregated.
Typical lifetime: up to 13 months. Providers: Shopify Analytics, Google Analytics.
Advertising
These allow us to measure the performance of our advertising campaigns and to show relevant ads on other sites. They are placed only with your consent.
Typical lifetime: up to 13 months. Providers: Google (Google Ads, Google Tag), Meta Platforms.
Functional
These remember choices you have made — a dismissed banner, a recently viewed item — so the site behaves consistently. They are placed only with your consent.
Typical lifetime: up to 12 months.
Consent
No cookie other than a strictly necessary one is placed before you give consent. Consent is requested on your first visit, is recorded, and can be withdrawn at any time from our Privacy Choices page. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.
Where Google services are used, we operate Google Consent Mode: before consent, Google tags receive signals that prevent the storage of advertising and analytics identifiers.
Controlling cookies in your browser
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent parts of the site — in particular the cart and checkout — from working.
