Accessibility Statement
Our commitment
YONAKU is built to be usable by everyone, including people who browse with a screen reader, a keyboard alone, screen magnification, or with reduced motion enabled. Accessibility is treated as part of the design, not as a correction applied afterwards.
Standard we work to
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. This is the reference used by the Americans with Disabilities Act guidance in the United States and by the European Accessibility Act.
What we have done
- Every interactive element is reachable and operable by keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator.
- Menus, accordions and the FAQ use native HTML elements rather than scripted substitutes, so assistive technology announces their state correctly.
- Every product image carries descriptive alternative text; decorative elements are hidden from assistive technology.
- Text and background colours are chosen to meet the AA contrast ratio; colour is never the only way information is conveyed.
- Tap targets are at least 44 by 44 pixels.
- Page structure uses a single H1 and an ordered heading hierarchy, so a screen reader can navigate by headings.
- Images declare their dimensions, so the page does not shift while it loads.
- No element moves, flashes or animates on hover or scroll.
- A skip link lets keyboard users jump straight to the main content.
Known limitations
Some third-party components — the payment window, and content embedded from external services — are outside our control and may not meet the same standard. Where we identify a barrier in our own pages, we fix it.
Tell us about a barrier
If you encounter a page you cannot use, write to contact@yonaku.com with the address of the page, the difficulty you met, and the assistive technology you use if relevant. We acknowledge within one business day and tell you what we intend to do and when.
If you need information from this site in another format, or help completing an order, write to the same address and we will provide it.
Review
This statement is reviewed whenever the site changes substantially, and at least once a year.
