It is unlined.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe cut is the classic happi: straight through the body, falling to mid-thigh, with wide three-quarter sleeves, a flat collar band and no fastening. It hangs open over a white tee and stays open, with a slit at each side.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eFrom across a street it is a black coat with a pale drawing on it. From close the tiger has stripes, whiskers and claws, every one a single stroke, and the red eyes find you. It is the coat in the range that most rewards the person standing behind you.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eWear it over a white tee and white trousers, as in the photograph, or over black for a coat that is all line and nothing else. It goes with anything plain, and with nothing printed.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe collar band is flat and black and the line of the tiger runs under it, so the drawing continues behind the band as if the band were laid on top. The coat is longer and straighter than a haori, and a single-line animal needs that length to stretch out.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eSizes run from S to 5XL. It is cut to Asian sizing and runs small, so take one size up from your usual.
